THE BATMAN | MAIN ON END CREDITS
Title Sequence for Matt Reve’s The Batman.

David Wave was commissioned to do the End Credits for The Batman. The approved concept was that the credits are displayed from the inside of the BatSignal. Inspired by the Cinema Noir tone of the movie, the credits are displayed in a dark red with a grainy black environment where the lights of the BatSignal navigate throughout.
ANIMATION
We wanted a classic, elegant, timeless way of displaying the credits. Without camera animations our anything that could drift from the grounded tone of the film. David Wave decided to do elegant fades through light and camera focus of each credit.
DESIGN PROCESS
Initial StyleFrames from David Wave’s pitch. Director Matt Reve’s loved this concept and the animation was executed in order to follow the idea explored by the original design frames. David Wave was the solo artists to Concept, Design and Animate this piece.
